Mostly just a spicy peppery rubbing alcohol. It has a very astringent quality to it. The patchouli force is strong with this one. It packs a punch in the opening and continues to hog the limelight long afterwards. For a feminine fragrance, Aventus for Her leans heavily towards the masculine side. I can’t pick out the floral notes or specific fruits either, just the woods and peppery notes. This fragrance is powerfully long-lasting and has atomic projection. Received a sample today and Im trying to be fair and give this time to settle but right now It’s a BIG NO!

Its obnoxiously strong and masculine and it doesn’t list as a note but I smell Oud somewhere in there. I definitely don’t see this as a work scent or spring and summer scent. May be tolerable in the colder months, but I cant imagine what the heat would do with this. I do NOT get how this is such a popular fragrance, especially at Creed’s price point. I really wanted to like this, but it is definitely too masculine for my taste. I think this would smell quite good on a guy though! I think Amazon sitting on a galloping horse while shoting from the bow tells it all. Strong pepper and rose and a lot of musk .
Later scent turns into only little bit more delicate and useable with hint of apple,but still not for Lancome ,or Armani fans. Leather isn’t mentioned ,but it gives the overall impression of a “leathery ” fragrance. I like it very much ,but it’s not crowd pleaser . The vibe this perfume gives me is getting a hug from a nince-figure worth man and your energy is synced. This fragrance can easily become your signature scent. At first you get a bitter spicy scent, than it turned into a powdery, rosey, spicy scent. This perfume will last all day. BOOM – creed aventus for her .
On my skin, I can smell the bergamot and musk, along with the florals, but I have no clue what flower I’m smelling unless it’s the rose and lilac. Update: oh no, is there patchouli in here? I checked the Creed site for the official notes, and they mention having Indonesian patchouli in the top notes. I don’t like it at all. This smells like a young, attractive, Republican, female real estate agent in high heels. Whether you love Republicans or despise Republicans is beside the point.

My wife looooves this fragrance and I love it as well. TBO this is wearable for a man. I will probably be down voted for saying this but, Creed Aventus for women is much better than Aventus cologne, and rivals the original but is not quite as good. This should have been an Aventus flanker. Performance wise this is middle of the road. The composition is high quality with many natural ingredients, but with naturals, the compromise is longevity. If you can find this discounted it is totally worth it.

I really adore this but it is sooo sooo expensive! It has its woods, florals, chypres, you name it. I feel as if it is beautifully blended and i don’t really understand all of the hate behind it. The Giorgio Beverly Hills for the 2000s. Did not like this at all. I am a big fan of fruity fragrances, and this doesn’t smell fruity at all, I just get the peppery smell. This is way too masculine for me. In fact I thought I’d mistakenly received the aftershave.
Very strong,spicy and quite overpowering . I like something that sneaks up on me and surprises me. I can’t smell anything other than damp forest wood. I’m going to get another tester. I’m sure they’ve given me the aftershave by mistake. Well,it’s a few weeks later and I’ve got the correct perfume,for women. I’m afraid it’s way too masculine for me.

I sampled this recently and at first sniff I was like “really? After trying my sample again, I am finally able to appreciate it-as most Creed scents, this one can easily be unisex although it leans more feminine. Opening is a bit more masculine but as the heart opens up, its very sophisticated fruity floral that just OOZES class. Its fresh, yet very tinsy bit masculine but at the same time it has florals to fall back on and give it that feminine feeling. I do like it now although I still think that price tag is crazy. This fragrance smells like a rich upper class lady. Simply put, it is soft and so versatile that you can wear it all year round. Yes you can find similar fragrances with better performance, but if you are a sucker for that beautiful bottle. I received a sample of this and suprisingly, I like it! This fragrance reminds me of Narciso Rodriguez for Her and Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel.
OMG the more it dries down, the more I love it. I definitely think a man can wear it because it isn’t a super feminine. However, I think it is very well suited for a woman. I think of a confident, conservative and well established woman with expensive taste. Like innocence but not A bore as Laura Ashley. But also intriguing enough for a date. I have tried it for the first time today and I expected another overhyped scent, but no. Musky, fruity, vey well blended and bright. It is a scent of well being and if I had to use only one word for it, it’d be BRIGHT.
I find it outstanding in its simplicity. It doesn’ t “go crazy” with any note and I enjoy quality over edginess. Also, although I would imagine a woman wearing it, it could easily pass as unisex. I’m falling in love here and I’m anticipating a full size bottle. Aventus for Her is a bright, fruity fragrance. Apple, black currant and peach give the fragrance a very juicy opening. It is feminine and uplifting, yet nothing particularly unique. Given the footprint left by the original Aventus, I agree with other reviewers in expecting something more from this. The Kingly impression of the original does not translate into a Queenly female version.
It may not succeed in capturing lightning in a bottle a second time, but that doesn’t mean it is a bad fragrance. The fruits come with an addictive sweetness very becoming of a lady. My expectation before testing was that this would be a fragrance for a high-powered woman, a business leader or politician. Instead, it comes off as a much more glamorous scent. This is much more haute couture gown than luxury designer pantsuit. While I can see some unisex appeal, I’d still call Aventus for Her a feminine scent just as the name implies. The fruity sweetness is too pronounced.
There is also a slightly powdery musk making up the base of this fragrance. I would call this a top notch fruitchouli. One that, in my admittedly ignorant male opinion, would make a fine everyday scent for an elegant woman able and willing to invest in a bottle. I was able to to spray this at Myer in the city recently. There’s so much hype around the male version, I was curious to see whether the female version deserved equal reverence. The male version has a fresh and spicy brightness that doesn’t appear in this product. I’m sure it has its fans, but it’s a pass from me. Dry down is erba pura exactly.
Beautiful opening, however this fragrance is more masculine than feminine . Might buy it to my husband since I think it’s much nicer than the creed aventus for men. I get wild blueberries mixed with baby powder. This reminds me of Scent of Peace by Bond no. 9- but in the dry down. That one also smells like fresh blueberries on a bush at first but when it is dried down smells like blueberries with powder.
